It really is a small world after all! Visit the Museum for a beautiful photographic exhibit of some very small subject matter. The Small World microphotography exhibit is on a national tour and this is its only California appearance. $8 adults, $6 seniors (60+) and teens (13-17), $5 youth (4-12), free for members and ages 3 and under. 12-4:30pm Tuesday–Friday, 10am-4:30pm Saturday–Sunday at the Discovery Museum Science & Space Center in Sacramento. 808-3942. Tuskegee: Journey to Flight

Tusekegee: Journey to Flight celebrates the gallant African American men and women who broke barriers as both aviation heroes of WWII, as well as champions of equality. Through personal stories and experiences, this exhibit reveals how these courageous men and women not only fought for Allied victory abroad, but also fought for equality on the home front as an early chapter of civil rights history. $8.50 general, $7 students and seniors, $6 youth (6-13), free for children ages 5 and under. Red Hot and Blown: Contemporary Glass from the Crocker's Collection

Celebrate the 50th anniversary of America's studio-glass movement! Glass is a rich and diverse form of creative expression with vessels, sculptures, and everything inbetween being blown, cast, assembled, and even painted. The Crocker's exhibition includes all of these techniques. Going Green: It's Cool For The Planet

Going Green is an exhibit displaying and telling the story of clean fuel alternatives. The exhibit includes a 1913 Rauch & Lang electric car; one of only twelve 1997 General Motors EV1s still in existence and their newest additions: two Nissan Electric Vehicles -- a Hypermini and an Altra. $8 general, $7 seniors and students with ID, $4 members and free for children ages 4 and under. 10am-6pm at the California Automobile Museum. 442-6802. Fishing Lines: Etching and Engraving from the Gary Widman Collection

From anglers on Rembrandt's riverbanks to William Wegman's scaly creatures, fish and fishing have inspired artists for centuries. This exhibition of works from a private collection explores the subject in 60 etchings and engravings from 16th century to the present. Angling lore, scientific study, and sometimes acid humor are brought together by a variety of printmakers. $10 general, $8 seniors (65+) and youth (7-17), $5 children ages 6 and under, free for members. Surveying Judy Chicago: 1970-2010

A seminal figure in contemporary American art, artist and feminist Judy Chicago produces thought-provoking, passionate, and at times controversial work. Unrestrained by medium, her work traverses china and acrylic painting to cast glass, printmaking, and textiles. Her most famous project, The Dinner Party, 1974-79, catapulted her onto the international stage. $10 general, $8 seniors (65+), and youth (7-17), $5 children ages 6 and under, free for members.
