Still wondering how to get your teen to think about someone else for a change? Here’s an idea that’s right up their alley. Dosomething.org is holding their 4th annual Teens for Jeans program now through February 12th. All your teen has to do is take a pair of gently used jeans to any Aeropostale store (trust me they’ll know where to find it). The jeans will be donated to a homeless youth and your do-gooder will receive a 25% discount on a new pair. This is the perfect opportunity to discuss a few mind-blowing statistics with your teen. The fact that 1 in 3 homeless people are under 18, or that 27% of children in Sacramento live in poverty, ought to at least make them stop and think. For more info send them to dosomething.org/teensforjeans.
