Excitement begins building in the parking lot.  As you walk toward the Power Balance Pavilion the kids dressed in Disney-themed costumes start to emerge.  The air is filled with a buzz of anticipation, jumpy kids and smiling parents.

Taking your seats in the huge arena the energy is palpable—bright lights, cold ice, set designs and a frenetic amount of food and toy vendors hawking stuff kids clamor for.  Small children with glassy eyes already have sensory overload. Dads and moms might have that same feeling you get at the “happiest place on earth” where after paying to park, and then for show tickets you now also feel obligated to shell out for a snacks or a trinket!

Then the lights dim and its show time—the toys are back in town!  Their favorite characters from Pixar’s Toy Story 3 are coming to life and doing tricks on ice-skates!  Naturally there is Buzz Lightyear, Woody, Jessie and the rest of the gang—even Barbie, Ken and Lots-o’-Huggin.

The real magic might lie in the two hours that you duck inside the arena and leave the “real world” behind as you watch the show through your child’s eyes.  Every little girl will be mesmerized when Barbie and Ken skate.  Every small boy will thrill at Buzz Lightyear lifting off the ice and flying high above the rink!  Parents have to admit the whole thing is pretty darn entertaining!
